Who We Are

FMW Recycling operates on a nationwide basis in Ireland. Fingal Recycling was founded in 1995 in Swords, Dublin and in 2005 it merged with Mid West Recycling, to form FMW Recycling.

In Ireland the company has 1 operating facility in Balbriggan.

We consistently look for new, innovative Waste Management and Recycling practices to drive forward our service to our customers. This service is delivered in line with the Quality Standards and Accreditations we have achieved and these include:

  • ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 14001 Accreditations
  • Local Authority Waste Permit WPT 89
  • nationwide Waste Collection Permits including NI
  • Repak Authorised Collection

FMW Recycling Company Milestones

1995 – Fingal Recycling established in Swords, Co. Dublin
1996 – Authorization to process materials under “Custom Control”, Rev. Comm.'s.
2000 – Awarded ISO 9002 Certification – NSAI Accreditation
2000 – Approved as Repak – authorised Waste Collector / Recycler
2000 – Moved to new premises in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin.
2001 – Established Midwest Recycling in Co. Clare
2001 – Approved as an Enterprise Ireland Company
2002 – Awarded ISO 14001 Certification – NSAI Accreditation
2002 – Granted Waste Collection Permit – Nationwide
2002/2003 – Partner in Project Heat Sun - Euro Life II Environmental Project
2003 – Awarded Waste Collection Permit for Northern Ireland
2004 – Awarded ISO 9001:2000 Certification and 14001 re- certification – NSAI Accreditation
2005 – Merged Fingal Recycling and Mid West Recycling to trade as FMW Recycling
2005 – Implemented SAP Business One
2007 - Awarded ISO 9001:2000 and 14001:2004 re-certification - NSAI Accreditation
2008 – QPulse Quality and Environmental Management System introduced
